Well, the experience at Cedarly Pastors Retreat Center was truly an enjoyable and meaningful time. It was good to see cohort partners in the D.Min. program. Thanks to Tom, Pat, Edwin and Paul for making my Pastor Care specialization experience educational, profitable and often just downright enjoyable! It was a pleasure to meet Steve and Patti Cappa from Marble Retreat. Like much of my educational experiences, the learning came from the interaction and observation and experience of being with experienced, thoughtful and skilled people. The Cappas are worth their weight in gold. Patti Cappa is a master therapist, who demonstrated her ability to attend and intervene experientially in ways I have seldom seen before. Steve is exactly what he professes to be: A Practial Theologian, who happens to be a licensed psychologist.
I also enjoyed visiting with Andy and Nancy, the Retreat directors at Cedarly. If you need a rest and renewal kind of retreat, then you will not be disappointed in Cedarly Retreat Center. check it out at the Title of this post.
